Able To Throw/Launch Grenade Even Without Enemy Present

One should be able to do preemptive tossing of grenades for the purpose of removing cover/glass or laying down fire barriers with incendiary grenades. But without a unit present, one can’t toss the grenade. Speaking of grenades, why not have the different types of grenades for the grenade launcher?

Grenades can be thrown anywhere without having a target present. Just select the grenade as the active item, hit the throw grenade ability, and choose where you want to throw it.
The same applies with the grenade launcher, which you can fire just like any other weapon using the free aim system.
