Siren's mind control not ended after disabled head

Siren has mind controlled one of my soldiers.
After that I shot Siren in the head and disabled her head. While aiming, there was a description that head is responsible for mind control (makes sense).
However, even after disabling Siren's head, my soldier is still not under my control.

Now when you disable Siren's head she will immediately lose mind-controlled units. Before this change, it was in the next turn.

I think the general expectation is that mind control should break instantly. However, the unit control is should be restored later. The unit could be marked as "recovering" or "disoriented" status and become friendly but uncontrollable during the same turn they were released.

Yes. I wrote my post four months ago in May and they fixed the issue recently.

Did you wait until the next turn? With her head disabled she should be unable to MAINTAIN mid control into the next turn.
