Throwing granades, acid, goo
I would prefer having "throwing" as some skill, as used to be in old XCom. But skill that can progress by use, or skill tree use ("improved throwing").
Same (chances) should apply to Pandorans. Goo should miss, acid too, granades also. Instead of being insta killers, they should mutate or improve weapons instead of "insta-killing"

Agree in principle, but not sure how this could be supported with the current up-skilling system. I think simply making the grenade landing point random, as in the rockets, is preferable.

I don't need it to be a skill per-se - I'd be happy if we just got some sort of feedback about where the grenades actually might land when using launchers. As is there is zero feedback to tell you that a grenade might miss or get blocked. It is completely random.

Eric Loche: Yes, there should be some form of "target zone" to give the player an idea of the accuracy of rockets. If I choose to make a tight shot next the side of the building I'd like some sort of idea of my chances of hitting the building are. I think there's a window for having a 'guided missile' type weapon which can ignore scenery (but with a much reduced blast radius and damage output).
