Dead Bodies+destroyed buildings in haven defense

I think it would add to the horror and give a better feeling of how bad the battle was if there
Were dead civilians/soldiers/pandorians/destroyed vehicles
All over the map as well as destroyed buildings to show that battle has been going on
The longer you the haven defense mission has been available=the battle has been going on longer=more bodies and destroyed buildings

Dead bodies on Haven Defence mission
Squibs
The devs are adding features to haven defence mssions where you have arrived after it has been fought for a while, where there are random explosions set off and fires on the map.
Just a suggestion if they havent already though of it to add bodies of dead soldiers and dead pandorans randomly placed too.
It would really add to the feel of walking in on a heated battle to help save the day

I feel like this would really add variety to that mission type. I hope for its inclusion.

One of the variables can be how much ammo the attackers and defenders have. Right now everyone is fully loaded when the battle begins, but things deplete. My proposition is to have 3 stages:
1) battle starts: full ammo, full health, 100% reward
2) mid battle: 75% ammo, dead bodies, building damage, 0-20% unit damage. 75% reward
3) late battle: 50% ammo, more dead bodies (all participants), more building damage, some fires, 10-50% unit HP damage. 50% reward
This would make it feel much more like a battle has been happening. It also serves as a control for the player. The "C" team might have to wait so that the mission is easier, though the reward will be less. This implies the haven combat resolution should be slowed some.

We are thinking about adding some initial Destruction to the haven defense:
•Depending on how long the battle has been raging in the Geoscape, add some destruction to the map.
•Detonate powerful explosions at a random point in the map (this happens before the mission starts and is designed not to interfere with key structures or deployment zones).

This starts to get more interesting with the implication that, as more destroyed buildings start showing up, they get replaced by downed vehicles and Chirons. Chirons right now can have their bodies be used as cover, you know. :)
