Game performance terrible after Hypnos patch

The entire game is super laggy now after the Hypnos patch. Previously, I ran the game super smoothly on high and ultra graphics. Now even on low graphics the game is terribly laggy. It's unplayable for me.

Hotfix is live. There are no official patch notes. But it is Unity engine upgrade that should fix performance-related issues (such as UI lag and other slowdown problems). Let us know if it helped please.

Vit Barta: Just tried it out. There is significant improvement for me in Tactical. Saving and Loading is still a little slower than before issue, but quite tolerable, in my opinion. Will test more later this afternoon. Will let you know if anything changes. Thanks.

Vit Barta: I just tested a bit in the tactical layer and geoscape. It's much better than before. I'm not sure about saving and loading. Thank you for the quick fix!

Vit Barta: Wow, I own an Asus ROG laptop (Nvidia 2060 RTX) that comes with three predefined whole computer performance settings (cpu / gpu speed, fans, etc): before the update I got lag even on the highest settings, after it I sometimes leave the notebook on silent (i.e. lowest settings) and yet the game is fluid - in-game gfx settings always on ultra.

Vit Barta: Buddy, I run an driver updated RTX 2080. My FPS drop to 3 or 4 when in Mission. Planet view is normal at 60 FPS. Two to three updates before the latest patches updates I ran at 60 FPS

Since the last update which had in it the announcement of the availability of the new DLC (Oct 2021), the game lags horribly. Saves and Loads take minutes now, and gameplay is effected. Hard to control placing shots and character control herky jerky. Almost unplayable.

We know some of you are experiencing performance issues since this latest release. We have been working with Unity on this, and we have a hotfix coming soon that we believe will help. We expect to deliver the hotfix on the PC this week if everything goes smoothly.

Vit Barta: Thanks for the quick response. This must be the right place to communicate. I tried to 'F10' inside the game and it errored out saying the stream was too long.....
