Personnel will be automatically filtered by base and ship but there will not be additional active (clickable) filters.

Vit Barta: What the game currently does is not filtering, it’s grouping elements on the list based on their location. The list still contains every soldier and is cumbersome to use.

That might not be enough. And a lot of people seem to want filters that they can modify themselves.

Once you have 2 or 3 squads active the soldier list becomes a pain to work with. It would be better if we could assign soldiers to squads or aircraft and have another window to view each squad on its own, and when scrolling through the soldiers in that squad on either training or equipment only see those soldiers.
Another way to achieve this would be an option to filter soldiers by which aircraft they are assigned to.

Personnel screen should be more use friendly. If I have more than 4 ships and more than 20 soldiers, it is like a hell to work with this UI. The filters and sorting per location/ship, class, level, health, etc... would be very useful at least.
Also, complete graphical redesign would be appreciated to consider, that we have many soldiers in multiple bases and multiple ships. PP introduced this feature, having multiple bases and multiple ships, so it should be considered user-friendly way in UI.

As a new player, I find it very confusing to understand where my soldiers are, where vehicles are, which soldier/vehicle is on which aircraft. How many soldiers are allowed on vehicle or aircraft. Is there a limit of soldiers per base or the limit is shared. How much is this limit increased by creating barracks?
I'm not saying that this information is not accessible, just that it is not presented to the player in an intuitive manner.
I would suggest making personnel/vehicle/aircraft management layer much clearer.
