The endgame just drags! It would help if you shaved at least a day off the endgame research times, so that we're not all sitting around endlessly waiting to get to the end.

The cost of late-game faction research is lowered by approximately 35%.

I know this is an old request, but I have to +1 this. I just finished the game myself and had this same experience. The end of the game dragged on - I just needed to wait for the story research, and in the meantime had to play whack-a-mole with the haven defense and nest/lair/citadel missions.
