While this is fixed also fix displaying ships on top of each other at havens. That should only happen at 6+ or something large. Even then they should evenly offset. In flight, if I click on one and redirect, it should then Z sort _below_ the other one so I can click on it and retask it as well.

Don't auto-unpause when I'm moving my ships

Whenever you send a ship to a POI, the game automatically unpauses. This is fine at the very beginning when I only have one ship, but as I get more, I kinda wanna plan ahead and set their paths BEFORE the game auto-unpauses.
At least make it an option in the menu, so I can issue all my commands to all my ships, then I press a key to unpause the game and allow the mto move.

I agree. Unpause when planning a route for several ships are very annoying. It is more confusing than useful.
Mods are good solution, but they keep crashing after updates.
An interface option would be very helpful here, unpause or not the game while plotting the route.

All for it. Since there is a mod for it should be easy to implement it in the game.

This needs to happen

Do Not Autoplay Geoscape When Moving Ships
Alvaro Rodriguez Tajes
Auto playing the time only works when you have only one ship to give orders to, it is really annoying and there is already a mod that fixes this. The problem is, if you manage more than one ship you may want to adjust destiations of all ships before pressing play, the geoscape does not allow this now.

I feel like we also need better outliner here as well, in fact we could really use a second map layer which would help us out with spotting soldiers in havens available for recruiting, tracking airplane destination path and navigating the map in easier way.

It could be like this:
If the player has exactly 1 ships: autoplay
If the player has more than 1 ships:
- autoplay if all ships have destinations set or are conducting some activity
- do not autoplay if 1 or more ships do not have a destination set or are idle (the user has to click to start the time running)
David Smith
Ya, once you get to 3 ships, its nice being able to select routes first before the time begins.
