Worms Auto-explode Timer
complete
Андрей Бабинов
I almost stuck in a mission. I killed all enemies as I thought. But the mission didn't end, because there sitll was 1 fireworm from Chiron. The problem was - te worm was on 4th floor, and ladder leaded theer was broken. And floor tiles can't be broken. I spen an hour just tol kill it, and was almost forced to escape the misson. So - maybe add a 3-5 turn auto-explode timer for them. Or make walls/floors more breakable, so players won't stuck in this situation. This will also allow to use kite strategy with worms sometimes.

Enemies stuck in the environment will now die if they can’t move at the start of their turn.

I had to delete the game. Because at some point almost every mission became impossible to complete: worms fall into undestructible / unreachable places and "That's all, folks!" Very irritating bug.

Alternately you could fix the fact that the damn things land in terrain items and can't be killed until you walk next to them and set them off. Assuming the terrain will allow that.

Five turn auto-remove sounds like a good fix. Instead of exploding they can just burrow and disappear silently. Less need for explanation.

Worms could also always drop to below floor if there's a PP soldier down there and none in range in the same floor. However there's always the possibility of it landing in a place with no way out, so the auto timer is a good solution. However how would you explain their live study this way?

Carlos Eduardo:
1) Maybe they should explode only if they are not paralized.
2) Auto-explode could be not the only solution. If said worm just descended to 1-st floor, all will be fine. So maybe allow them to descend from any height as an alternative.
3) There is actually no point in capturing them, since their vivisection (and other vivsections in the game) sux. It give you +10% damage vs enemy that could be killed with a single pistol shot. Instead it should lead to some anti-poison protection and poison weapon IMO. Reserch - is really weak side of the game. Most of them give you literally nothing, compared to X-COM, where 1 research = 1-2 new items.

Андрей Бабинов: They can fall in a room with a closed door. I assume they don't open doors... it could be a good compromise: if in a place with no way out, auto explode in N turns. Else, go for the player no matter the cost (drop from high altitude).
About your point (3)... vivisections really are lackluster but that's a different problem. I assume they plan on changing these. You should open a separate ticket for that, you'll have my support!
